Phig Parfitt is a photographer, videographer, and creative director who was born and raised in London. After completing her Foundation Diploma in Fashion Communications at Central Saint Martins, she went on to complete a Bachalors degree in Photography. During her time studying she worked closely with up and coming musicians, kick starting her love for capturing real people. Her work, though heavily influenced by film, romanticises the mundane while maintaining a strong sense of narrative. Driven by a desire to tell stories while exploring personal introspection and societal observations, her practice often blurs the line between documentary and fiction, Whilst also aiming to function as an evolving archive.
